The home buying process

2. Contact a Realtor from the Mark it Sold group

3. Search for homes on www.SearchOnlineAnytime.com

4. Stay in contact with your Realtor so they can show you homes as they become
available. The best homes sell quickly.

5. Make an offer on your future home. – Your Realtor will be working with you and your lender closely guiding you through the process.

6. Have a home inspection.

7. Set up homeowners insurance.

8. Prepare for closing (final settlement) where you sign paperwork, pay any down payment money and receive the KEYS to your house!

Your team in the home buying process:

Lender – The bank or mortgage company that provides the funds to purchase your home will provide you with a loan officer. They will advise you on the price of a home you qualify to purchase and the terms of your loan. If you have any credit issues a good lender will guide you step by step to resolve those issues.

Real Estate Agent – We recommend that you hire a Buyer’s Agent to represent you in the purchase of your home. The Seller’s agent works for the Seller and NOT for you. When you use a Mark it Sold Agent as your Buyer’s agent, there is no cost to you. Your agent will work in your best interest, guide and advocate for you throughout the entire home buying process. Your agent can help you find qualified home inspectors and insurance companies that have the best products to suit your needs.

Home Inspector – Inspects the home for structural, health and safety items. You are given a report and can then request the Seller to repair those items.

Homeowners Insurance Agent – Your lender will require you to maintain homeowners insurance. Insurance is included as part of your house payment
